Ingredients

  • 3 cups baby spinach
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened coconut almond milk
  • A squeeze of lime juice

Directions

  1. Add spinach, mango, strawberries, coconut almond milk and lime juice to food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth.

Ingredient health benefits

  • Spinach: This leafy green probably wasn’t on your radar as a smoothie ingredient, but adding spinach is a great way to get some iron and beta-carotene, an antioxidant that fights inflammation and helps protect your vision.
  • Mango: A delicious tropical treat, mangoes are a good source of vitamins and minerals, like potassium and vitamin C. And did you know that two kinds of fiber contribute to a happy, healthy gut? Well, mangoes have both!
  • Strawberries: The compound that gives strawberries their luscious red color, anthocyanin, doubles as a powerful antioxidant with a lot of perks. Incorporating these little fruits into your diet can also support your heart health and help regulate your blood sugar levels.
  • Coconut milk: As a low-calorie, no-carb, nondairy alternative, coconut milk is an excellent way to add some plant-based creaminess to any recipe.
  • Almond milk: This popular nut milk is rich in vitamin E, which boosts your immune system, and has fewer calories than cow’s milk.
